Brick Farm Group in Hopewell, New Jersey

The mission of each Brick Farm Group affiliate is simple: provide the best-tasting food to the community in the most responsible and sustainable manner possible.

It all starts with Double Brook Farm. Established in 2004, the farm raises chickens, cattle, turkeys, pigs, ducks, goats and sheep on pasture, without the use of hormones and antibiotics. The farm is proud to have an on-farm, USDA inspected processing facility – one of only two in the country. The farmers’ focus is on giving the animals the most natural, stress-free and humane environment they can provide.

Meat from the farm is sold exclusively at the Brick Farm Market, a full-service retail market, which opened in 2013. In addition to an artisanal butcher and charcuterie counter, the market has a gourmet cheese department, a barista coffee bar, a custom juice bar, a full bakery on premises, grocery items, prepared foods and catering options by executive chef, Chase Gerstenbacher. The market also hosts special events such as market dinners, pig roasts and occasional private events.

The restaurant, Brick Farm Tavern, represents Brick Farm Group’s fine dining arm. Opened in November of 2015, the Brick Farm Tavern has garnered praise and accolades for hyper-local, elegant cuisine in a carefully restored 1800's farm house. Creative dishes by Chef Max Hosey and artisanal cocktails and expertly curated wine pairings by our sommeliers and bartenders combine to create a sublime dining experience rooted in Hopewell’s unique terroir.

Finally, we have a third outpost for ultra casual dining at the Red Barn Milk Company. Located in Ringoes, Red Barn has partnered with Brick Farm Group and Hun-Val Dairy Farm in Ringoes, NJ, to bring local burgers, fries, ice cream, shakes and fresh milk to the community. The milk is the only single-source NJ milk you can actually buy in NJ! Red Barn is open seasonally and will feature a weekend farmer’s market and events throughout the warmer months.
